Tommoro Robotics has secured Pre-A funding, earning investor recognition for the potential to bring robot AI from the laboratory into industrial use.
Participants in the round included Kakao Investment, Ecopro Partners, SGC Partners, TXR Robotics, T-ROBOTICS, GS Ventures, and BlissVine Ventures, bringing opportunities for strategic partnerships across sectors. Tommoro Robotics plans to use the funding to advance its robot foundation models, expand industrial proof-of-concept projects, and recruit key talent.
The company is conducting proof-of-concept projects for logistics picking and transportation with partners identified as Companies C and A, and plans to expand into manufacturing, services, and other industries. It has also signed strategic agreements with ROBOTIS, TXR Robotics, T-ROBOTICS, and FASSTO, and is leading RFM development within the K-Humanoid Alliance organized by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
“This funding marks an important turning point in bringing Physical AI validated in the laboratory into industry,” said CEO Byoung-Tak Zhang. “Our goal is to make the AI that serves as a robot’s brain general-purpose, enabling different robots to operate faster and more flexibly in the physical world. Over the next three years, we aim to establish commercial deployments based on robot foundation models and grow into a globally competitive Physical AI technology company.”
