Tommoro Robotics announced on August 21 that it has been selected for the inaugural cohort of the AWS Korea Physical AI Frontier Program.

The program is an AWS initiative to support Physical AI companies in Korea. Through it, Tommoro Robotics will improve its AWS-based pipeline for data collection, model training, and edge deployment, increasing large-scale training throughput and accelerating retraining with field data. The company will also strengthen cloud-based training and deployment infrastructure for its HABILIS Physical AI platform and expand humanoid pilots in manufacturing and logistics.

Tommoro Robotics will receive AWS credits for Physical AI workloads. It plans to improve the end-to-end workflow from data pipelines to model training and edge deployment, and validate new Physical AI business models through Working Backwards sessions.

“This program will help us further strengthen our cloud infrastructure and broaden pilot opportunities through collaboration with AWS, laying the groundwork for international expansion,” said Byoung-Tak Zhang, CEO of Tommoro Robotics.

Tommoro Robotics develops robot foundation models (RFMs), the intelligence behind robots, and is working with robotics companies including ROBOTIS and Rainbow Robotics to commercialize humanoids for industrial and logistics applications.
