Tommoro Robotics, a Physical AI company, announced on September 18 that it has been selected for Scale-up TIPS, a program led by Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Through the project, Tommoro Robotics will develop a robot foundation model (RFM) and operational software that can be used across different humanoid platforms. The goal is to advance AI that turns visual, language, and sensor information into robot actions, improving task speed and reliability in manufacturing and logistics.

The company plans to develop general-purpose robot AI independent of any single manufacturer or robot model, adapt it to customer work environments, and validate it in manufacturing and logistics before expanding to similar processes and other industries. It will also develop software that allows on-site staff to directly instruct and operate robots.
