Tommoro Robotics has signed a memorandum of understanding with smart-fulfillment company FASSTO to jointly commercialize AI humanoid robots in logistics. Signed on November 10, the strategic partnership combines Tommoro Robotics’ AI robotics technology with FASSTO’s expertise in logistics automation operations to develop a commercialization model for humanoid robots powered by logistics-specific AI.
Under the agreement, the companies plan to conduct a proof-of-concept project in 2026, deploying approximately ten AI humanoid robots at a new FASSTO logistics center. By integrating robot control, AI, and logistics automation, they aim to demonstrate a next-generation operating model in which people and robots work together in a real logistics environment.
FASSTO is developing a robot orchestration system to operate autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), automated guided vehicles (AGVs), humanoids, and other logistics robots on a single platform. Tommoro Robotics plans to connect humanoid hardware and AI control technology to FASSTO’s integrated management platform to enable autonomous task execution, supporting advanced automation in precision picking, packing, and transportation.
Using data collected through the pilot, the companies plan to improve logistics-center operating efficiency and assess the potential to expand into other industrial environments.
