Tommoro Robotics has signed a memorandum of understanding with Daedong Robotics to establish a collaboration framework for AI-powered agricultural and field robotics.
The companies plan to combine Tommoro Robotics’ Vision-Language-Action robot foundation models and large-scale control intelligence with Daedong Robotics’ autonomous robot platforms optimized for outdoor and agricultural environments, strengthening next-generation field-robot capabilities.
The collaboration will focus on joint research and development, data sharing, and system integration. It aims to bring intelligent mobile robots into field applications involving complex tasks such as crop monitoring, autonomous navigation in unstructured environments, and adaptive outdoor manipulation.
By combining Daedong Robotics’ durable field-robot hardware with Tommoro Robotics’ AI perception and decision-making technology, the companies aim to accelerate commercialization of field robots that understand natural-language instructions and can learn and adapt.
The agreement represents a step toward a Korean AI robotics ecosystem that connects industrial technology, research, field validation, and commercialization in agriculture and outdoor automation.
