Tommoro Robotics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daedong Robotics to establish a cooperative framework for advancing AI-driven agricultural and field robotics technologies.

Through this agreement, the two companies will collaborate to enhance the competitiveness of next-generation field robots, integrating Tommoro’s Vision-Language-Action (VLA)–based Robot Foundation Model (RFM) and large-scale control intelligence with Daedong’s advanced autonomous platforms designed for outdoor and agricultural operations.

The partnership will focus on joint research and development, data sharing, and system integration aimed at deploying intelligent mobile robots that can perform complex tasks such as crop monitoring, autonomous navigation in unstructured environments, and adaptive manipulation in outdoor settings.

By combining Daedong Robotics’ strong foundation in high-durability field hardware with Tommoro’s AI-based perception and decision-making technologies, both companies aim to accelerate the commercialization of AI field robots capable of learning, understanding, and responding to natural human instructions.

This MOU marks a significant step toward building a domestic AI robotics ecosystem that connects industrial expertise, research innovation, and real-world deployment in agriculture and outdoor automation.
